NEW – Very High Speed Stabilised InGaAs Short Wave Infrared SWIR Camera C-RED 2 Lite

NEW Product Line – First Light Imaging C-Red 2 Lite – Very High Speed Stabilised InGaAs Short Wave Infrared SWIR Camera C-RED 2 Lite is the stabilised version of C-RED 2, able to run at 600 FPS with 32 electrons readout noise. To achieve this performance, C-RED 2 Lite integrates a 640 x 512 InGaAs PIN Photodiode detector with 15 μm pixel pitch for high resolution, which embeds an electronic shutter with integration pulses shorter than 5 μs. The camera has no fan, and is stabilized. It can also be watercooled for better performances with an optional cooling plate.C-RED 2 Lite is specially designed for high end industrial applications, science and surveillance.

Embedded Vision from ALRAD

Embedded vision systems acquire, control and process image data without an external computer and therefore require much less space than traditional machine vision systems. The low size, weight, power and cost of embedded vision systems means that almost any application can benefit from the power of machine vision technology. The Imaging Source offers system developers a broad portfolio of embedded vision products – from embedded development kits for initial prototypes to board cameras for market-ready applications, the key variants are as follows:

MIPI CSI-2 board cameras:

Featuring The Imaging Source’s proprietary 28-pin interface, offering system engineers maximum design flexibility.

FPD-Link III board cameras:

FPD-Link III interface offers the full functionality of MIPI CSI-2 board cameras whilst allowing for cable lengths up to 15m.

FPD-Link III Industrial Cameras with IP67 Housing:

These robust industrial cameras are fully IP6K6 & IP6K7 / ISO 20653 compliant and allow cable lengths of up to 15m.

Embedded Development Kits:

Designed for NVIDIA® Jetson and Raspberry Pi 4 platforms, these kits are ideal for rapid prototyping.

New – Edge Cameras – Compact, Integrated Imaging Systems for Deep Learning and AI Vision Applications

The new edge camera family from The Imaging Source features an integrated imaging system, which combines an image sensor with the computing power of NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX in a compact package.

Two camera resolutions (36M camera series) are available: 1.6 MP (IMX296) and 5.1 MP (IMX568). The cameras are delivered with NVIDIA JetPack software, which offers extensive deep learning functionality as well as a host of additional tools and libraries.

UKIVA Machine Vision Conference MVC 2023

ALRAD will be exhibiting and presenting at the UKIVA Machine Vision Conference MVC 2023 which is being held at the Coventry Building Society Arena , Coventry, UK.  On 20th and 21st June, our presentation overview is as follows:

Advantages of non-visible wavelengths for your applications:

With recent developments in non-visible wavelength imaging and the growing diversity of automation, process and control applications, this presentation explores the latest use of image processing in the non-visible wavelengths from Ultraviolet through to Near Infrared (NIR), Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) and Long Wave Infrared (LWIR).  Additional techniques such as filtering and use of polarisation characteristics are also explored and their benefits for the automation, process, packaging and inspection sectors explained.
