We are a part of a bridge between quality electronic product suppliers and engineers who need these products. Understanding how an engineer goes about selecting products they need, gives us insight into how to make sure our bridge we built from client to engineer is strong. This is why we recently took time to analyse a survey from Trew Marketing and GlobalSpec on this subject.

What we learned was that engineers prefer datasheets, they like to see multiple pieces of content before making a decision, and they prefer supplier or vendor websites when they seek deeper information. We learned far more from this survey as well that is valuable to us and clients. Understanding and incorporating this into media plans helps us grow as an agency, in order to keep our 514 Media team made up of industry savvy professionals.
